We are a coaching & consulting practice that supports leaders to create breakthrough results in their work and their lives through heightened awareness and presence, leading impactful changes. We offer coaching and experiential programs for leadership and organisation development as well as consulting to facilitate organisational change.
As your partner in development, our practice is grounded in the wisdom of Gestalt Leadership, Appreciative Inquiry & Design Thinking frameworks. This powerful combination is the source of our work with individuals to build personal mastery, essential in making a difference as leaders in your community wherever you are. We do so by accessing your inner wisdom and power to reclaim your freedom to think, courage to feel and the presence to make a difference.
At Besonder, we believe that all of us have access to our inner resources of power and wisdom. These resources are available to us if we are able to break through our own barriers or interferences. Changes in the outer world begins with changes in the inner world. Awakening to "Who am I?" is the start in every leaders' journey of change. Awareness of self and others, as well as self with others is critical to success. Only then are we able to expand and exercise our full repertoire of response-ability to make 'choiceful' decisions. Our ability to make impactful contact with self and others is the key to creating powerful experiences in life.
To do this, we work with you to distinguish and embody the following: Awareness, Boundary, Contact, Definition and Exchange. These are 5 basic distinctions we expound on that will make a difference in the way you engage. The quality of your leadership is a function of the quality of your contact and awareness is at the root of that.
It is a word constructed from "Be" + "sonder", which means to BE in wonder of everyone's stories inscribed in their lives. Whether they are their pains, fears, routines, regrets, happiness, celebrations or accomplishments, be amazed when we pay attention to truly listen to their stories. Our time and attention is a rare commodity now in the midst of competing needs and therefore it is precious to listen and to be heard.
At the same time, BE present to our own stories. The stories we tell ourselves, the stories we believe, define our world views. They limit or empower the way we live our lives, the way we work and therefore even the way we lead change.
Our Chinese name is 森杕. 杕 denotes a lone standing tree amidst 森 which means forest, a collective of trees. In the same way, we are a collective of diverse individuals who seeks to make a difference with our presence through our practice of self mastery and the use of self in service of our community. We build upon this diversity, connected at our core purpose to develop leaders, bringing our passion to make a difference in Asia.
